Our 3,000 m² garden area with an 11 x 7 m pool is a place of peace and relaxation. Surrounded by the impressive nature of the Tramuntana, you’ll find plenty of space here to breathe, soak up the sun, and unwind.
The spacious sun terrace, comfortable loungers, and shady retreats make the pool and garden area a favorite spot for our guests – whether for a refreshing dip after a hike, relaxing hours with a glass of wine, or as an atmospheric backdrop for special occasions such as weddings and celebrations.

Restaurant Es Freu
Here, Mallorcan tradition and Austrian cuisine go hand in hand.
Our menu features highlights such as tender grilled octopus, slow-roasted suckling pig, fine appetizers with burrata or fresh tomatoes, the classic Wiener Schnitzel, and creative desserts – all accompanied by a carefully selected wine and beverage list. In autumn, seasonal specialties like duck with dumplings and red cabbage or tender venison rack complement our offerings, making the cuisine at Es Freu a true culinary experience with both Mallorcan and Austrian character.
Sustainability and quality are our top priorities: we use regional, fresh ingredients sourced as locally as possible – from fish and crisp vegetables to aromatic herbs. Our standard for suppliers: KM 0, freshness, and responsibility.
At Es Freu, we regularly host atmospheric jazz evenings, wine and gin tastings, as well as Austrian Weeks.
